Sterile Lab-grade prepared 100mm Malt Extract Agar media plates.  This classic mycology formulation is great for germinating spores, expanding fungal cultures, and cloning mushroom tissue.  Agar media plates can be used for visually isolating and rejuvenating your best fungal cultures.  The first step necessary for creating your own liquid culture and mushroom spawn.   

Each dish contains our best recipe of Malt Extract, Dextrose, Yeast and Peptone. 

Select our proprietary "Ultra" version for accelerated growth of mycelia.  Expect up to a 20% boost in mycelium biomass and mycelium expressing more beneficial polysaccharides and complex molecules.
